Devin Watson is the name behind Watson Wood Art. He was born and raised in Maple Ridge, BC. He grew up next door to a little forest, and spent much of his childhood imagining fantasy worlds among the trees, and making small carvings out of the sticks he found. This fostered a deep love for trees, with their seemingly timeless strength and endless beauty, as well as a love for everything living in and under their protective canopies. This is reflected in his art, which is inspired by the natural beauty of the west coast and sourced entirely from responsibly sourced wood.

My work has been featured in the Maple Ridge ACT Art Gallery, the Coast Collective Gallery in Colwood, the Cowichan Valley Arts Council's 2022 Fine Arts Show, in which my piece "Interdiluvian" won Best in Show. I will also have my work in the upcoming Sooke Fine Arts Show.
